Configuring OutLook 2013

Setting up Webmail for Outlook 2013

So, you have already  set up yourcPanel Webmail account and now you want to use Outlook 2013 to check, send, and receive email for your cPanel Webmail account. By following just a few simple steps, you will be using your Outlook 2013 in no time!

In order to set up your Outlook 2013, you must get some important information from your Webmail account. To find this information, login to your cPanel Webmail directly through “Webmail.yourdomainname.com” then click on “Configure Mail Client” in your settings.

You will then be directed to the following screen:

You will notice “Auto Configuration Scripts” at the top of the screen. Because we are using Outlook 2013 and not any of the ones in that box, we will ignore the entire “Auto Configuration” Section. Instead, look under “Manual Settings.

This section shows you exactly what information to input into your Outlook 2013 to set up your cPanel Webmail. Note: It is highly recommended you use the Secure SSL/TLS Settings to keep your email secure.

Using the information in this section, return to Outlook and select “IMAP” or “POP3.” For this How-to, I am using “POP3” Settings, though the set-up for IMAP is almost identical.

2. Open Outlook 2013. You can do this either through the Start Menu or an Outlook 2013 Icon on your desktop.
